Who we are
Zimbabwe Diaspora Nation Building Initiative (ZDNBI) is a welcoming and integrating organisation which strives to galvanise the Global Zimbabwean diaspora to support and participate in the Nation building process of Zimbabwe.
The men and women who are part of this initiative, are mature leaders with a demonstrable level of neutrality and a heightened appreciation that, participating in such a project, requires that all rise above partisan interests and be invested with a mind-set, that puts nation first and foremost.
Importantly, participating in ZDNBI initiatives demands key qualities of trust, integrity, mutual respect and above all a compelling love for Zimbabwe. These character defining attributes are underpinned by a dogged determination which acknowledges that notwithstanding how polarised positions may appear to be, an amicable solution is possible. Undergirding all the positive human attributes of members, is a stark realisation that individually we are diminished and that together we can achieve more.
The mission of ZDNBI is to contribute to the facilitation of the creation of a conducive environment where principal stakeholders in Zimbabwe can find each other as compatriots who work together to evolve a framework of national unity that achieves progressive socio-economic and political outcomes and to provide a community point of contact and a recognized group voice for the global Zimbabwean Diaspora.
ZDNBI envisions a society in which all individuals, including those of the Zimbabwe Diaspora, have equitable opportunities to realize their full potential and to participate meaningfully in Zimbabwe’s Nation Building Enterprise.
To provide a conduit for the expression of a coalesced global Zimbabwean Diaspora voice and to provide a platform to network with all levels of government and political, other public and private organizations for the benefit of its members and the Zimbabwean community at large.
We love Zimbabwe.
We are determined to participate
and contribute to nation building.
Join our community and take part in the nation building of Dzimba dzemabwe.
